Ever since I started college, I never really decided what I wanted to do as a career path. I knew that I liked technology and art, so after receiving guidance on career fields, digital design felt the most appealing to me. Knowing that I could use my creativity to design logos, websites, and animations sounded very fun and interesting to me.
At first it was very hard learning new Adobe softwares, but once I started understanding these programs, I would get so excited and happy, like when you start to get the hang of riding a bike for the first time. This excitement and passion has been growing in me for about 2 years now, and I am so eager to learn more about other softwares and especially website design.
I have always wanted to be in a career that I would enjoy working at every day. Designing things for clients can be challenging, so I would bring a great attitude with the objective of satisfying the customer. I don’t even care too much about the money, I just want to be happy when working at a job. Having options for freelance or design firm jobs is also very appealing to me.
Thinking creatively is something I have always been good at throughout my entire school career. I like thinking with colors instead of numbers, drawing instead of writing, and especially designing my own ideas instead of following someone else’s. It is one of my greatest strengths, and I would like to improve my artistic skills to create beautiful projects.
Design is everywhere these days, and I am starting to see the appeal. I am always intrigued with designs that I will take the time to stop, analyze, and admire them. One day, I want my designs to intrigue people as It would be such a great accomplishment for me.
